We have been here for 30 years, everyone who works with us are family.

Our owners are Nilima Chand. She has been a medical doctor for over 30 years, amazing doctor. She is also our medical director of the office. When you come see our providers, we provide amazing care, 

Care Options

We offer addiction treatments, obesity treatments, school physicals, flu vaccinations, lab draws in office, DOT physicals. We also provide wound cares. Our Nurse Practitioners sees pediatrics from ages 6 months and up,  Medical Doctor sees children at ages 6 years and up. Workman Comp, Mental health, Minor procedures, Ear lavages, minor suturing, Biopsy. We also provide covid, flu, and strep testing. Along with papsmears and pregnancy tests done in office. 

Types of Diabetic Neuropathy

  1. Peripheral Neuropathy (most common)

    • Affects feet, legs, hands, and arms

    • Symptoms:

      • Numbness or reduced ability to feel pain/temperature

      • Tingling or burning sensation

      • Sharp or stabbing pain

      • Muscle weakness

  2. Autonomic Neuropathy

    • Affects nerves controlling internal organs

    • Symptoms may include:

      • Digestive problems (nausea, constipation, diarrhea)

      • Bladder issues

      • Sexual dysfunction

      • Dizziness when standing (low blood pressure)

  3. Proximal Neuropathy

    • Affects hips, thighs, or buttocks

    • Sudden severe pain and weakness

  4. Focal Neuropathy

    • Affects a single nerve (face, torso, or leg)

    • Sudden weakness or pain

Causes

  • Long-term uncontrolled diabetes (Type 1 or Type 2)

  • High blood sugar levels

  • High cholesterol

  • Smoking

  • High blood pressure

Diagnosis

Doctors may use:

  • Physical exam

  • Foot exam

  • Reflex testing

  • Nerve conduction studies

  • Blood tests

Treatment

1. Blood Sugar Control (Most Important)

  • Diet

  • Exercise

  • Medication or insulin as prescribed

2. Pain Management

  • Medications such as:

    • Duloxetine

    • Pregabalin

    • Gabapentin

    • Certain antidepressants

3. Foot Care (Very Important)

  • Daily foot checks

  • Proper footwear

  • Keep feet clean and moisturized

  • Treat wounds immediately

When to Seek Medical Help

  • New numbness or tingling

  • Foot sores that don’t heal

  • Severe pain

  • Signs of infection (redness, swelling, warmth)

Pediatric Care

We provide compassionate, confidential mental health services to support emotional well-being and overall health. Our team offers counseling, evaluation, and treatment for individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. We work collaboratively with each patient to develop a personalized plan that promotes healing and long-term wellness.

Our alcohol and drug addiction program is designed to support individuals through every stage of recovery. We begin with a personalized assessment to understand each person’s needs. From there, we create an individualized treatment plan that may include education, relapse prevention strategies, and ongoing support. Our goal is to help clients build healthy coping skills, address the root causes of addiction, and develop a sustainable recovery plan.

Our rural health clinic offers a variety of minor in-office procedures to meet your everyday healthcare needs. These services are performed safely and conveniently by our experienced medical providers, allowing you to receive quality care close to home without the need to travel.”
